Meet Kelsey
Registered Veterinary Technician
Kelsey grew up in Yorkton but spent a lot of time at her grandparent’s bird farm. She realized here that she had a love for helping all types of animals. She graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2015 and moved to Regina later that year. She joined the Regent Park team in December 2017. She has two miniature dachshunds named Charlie and Odie. She has a special interest in animal nutrition and exotic pets.

Meet Dr. Paul (Palanivel Thanakkan) B.V.Sc-Veterinarian.
Dr. Paul has been practicing veterinary medicine for twenty-one years. He earned his degree from Madras Veterinary College, the oldest veterinary college in India. In his initial days of practice, he dealt with small and large animals.
After moving from India in 2008, Dr. Paul worked and volunteered in different small animal hospitals in British Columbia. He, his wife, and two sons moved to Regina to start Regent Park Animal Hospital. They are now happy to call Regina home.
Dr. Paul has vast experience not only in surgical and medicinal cases, but also in semen collection evolution, processing, and artificial insemination of small and large animals.
Receptionist/Assistant
Leslie was born and raised in Regina. She is very passionate about animals and had spent many years volunteering at the local animal shelter. She has worked at vet clinics prior to joining the Regent Park Animal Hospital team in November 2017. Leslie enjoys spending time with her son and her two dogs; a basset hound named Wall-e and a Pit bull named Bella.
